Speeding Up Student Housing
The Caldwell Residence Hall project was another opportunity for PS=Ø to streamline construction workflow and eliminate delays caused by traditional pour strips. By eliminating pour strips and reducing restraint-to-shortening (RTS) cracking risk, our system helped the team build smarter and stay on schedule.
In student housing projects, speed and precision are critical—delays can impact move-in dates and occupancy planning. PS=Ø accelerated the timeline, reduced engineering headaches, and simplified workflow for both the general contractor and trades on site.
With no need for backshoring or post-pour demolition, the R.C. Matthews and Belmont University gained faster access to floors, increased material storage flexibility, and delivered a higher quality structure with Zero Compromise.
