AdventHealth Hospital is a six-story, 190,000 square-foot hospital located in Overland Park, KS. The one-way reinforced concrete joist system required backshoring of the pour strips and due to unforeseen conditions, the project fell two months behind schedule. Looking for time-saving solutions, the general contractor utilized the PS=Ø® system, which eliminated the pour strips and backshoring on the last three levels. Every trade was able to increase productivity allowing the construction schedule to be recovered and the building delivered on time.
